The internal finals day was held on Sunday 1st September 2024. Three matches were played in nice weather conditions.

Mens Singles: Les Crownshaw (21) beat Mick Holmes (15)

Ladies Singles: Anita Butcher (21) beat Christine Hodgson (17)

Mixed Drawn Doubles:

Jennifer Rennison & John Robinson (21) beat Jennifer Richardson & Ken Shirtliff (4).

The prizes were presented by our new sponsor, Andrew Young of the Royal Oak, Tickhill.

Andrew also presented the DDBA Eric Warren Trophy to the winning Tickhill team.

 

The annual club Drawn Doubles competition was held on Sunday 7th July.

Again the weather was very kind to us and an enjoyable day was had by all.

The eventual winners were Keith Boyer and Dave Butcher beating John Robinson and Mick Holmes in the final.

It also gave us the opportunity to have a group photograph of club member wearing their new shirts which are kindly sponsored by the Royal Oak.
